
JO PAVEY IS A 5 TIME OLYMPIAN WHO REPRESENTED TEAM GB WINNING NUMEROUS INTERNATIONAL TITLES AND MEDALS WITH A CAREER SPANNING MORE THAN 30 YEARS.
Titles include:
• World Championship Bronze, Osaka 2007. (Upgraded to Silver due to a disqualification)
• European Championships, Silver in 10,000 m in 2012, and a historic Gold in 2014 at age 40, making her the oldest female European champion in European championship history.
• Commonwealth Games 5000m Silver in 2006 and Bronze in 2014.
• 5-time Olympian, representing Great Britain starting in Sydney in 2000 through to Rio in 2016, a feat unmatched among British track athletes.


Jo was runner-up in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2014 and was awarded an MBE in 2015. Two years later, she released her autobiography Jo Pavey: This Mum Runs.
Since stepping away from full-time competition, Jo has remained deeply involved in athletics, coaching and mentoring young athletes alongside her husband Gavin through their group, Isca Endurance. She also works as a commentator for TNT Sports and serves as a contributing editor for Runner’s World UK.
An active runner and passionate advocate for the sport, Jo holds a number of ambassador and charitable roles, including with Coach Core, Running at 40 Plus, Exeter & Devon Sports Association for the Disabled, and Dreams Come True.
At 51, she continues to run daily and is even considering a return to competition in Masters Athletics, aiming for personal goals and age group records. She credits her recent injury-free running to modern training methods, supportive coaching, and specialised gear like Imbrace.
