I keep myself pretty fit, so bought these to prolong my day before the legs start burning. Despite heavy, slushy snow in the afternoon, my legs have felt fatigue free right to the end. The performance of this base layer definitely exceeds my expectations and I highly recommend them.

After nearly 3 years on crutches due to a complex hip issue which left my right leg several cm shorter than my left I eventually had a full hip replacement. This also came with problems as there was a struggle getting my old hip out so I was left with severe tissue damage, was locked in Anterior Pelvic Tilt & my leg still ended up 3cm shorter. Still having issues walking unaided I didn't think I'd be able to do any skiing, however, the Imbrace Leggings were a game changer. They were so supportive in all the areas I needed & although I only did 2 mornings on easy slopes, it was far more than I ever dreamed I'd do. I'm still going through physio programs so going to purchase the Imbrace + leggings to help my recovery & will be taking both pairs with me next year when I hope to be stronger & ready to ski a bit more, onwards & upwards 🤞👍

I am 6 months post chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I went to Andorra skiing at the beginning of March and after 1 day of skiing I felt like I’d run a marathon. I couldn’t ski the following day because of aching legs. This continued for the remainder of the week so I lost out on 3 days . Fast forward 2 weeks and after purchasing these we were off to La Plagne. What a difference. 7 -8 hours of skiing everyday and no aching or fatigue. These are my most expensive purchase to date but I can honestly say say they are worth every penny and I am so glad I took the risk as it totally changed my holiday

I am 63 and have back, right hip & right knee problems due to osteoarthritis (OA). I have skied for years but found it increasingly difficult due to my OA.
The compression leggings really helped my back and hip and somewhat helped my knee. So overall I am very pleased with them and intend to buy some leggings for walking as well. I do feel the knee support would benefit from offering double support as I think this is the area that benefits from most support when skiing. All in all they are great. Thank you!

I am a male and a part time ski instructor having worked over some 28 seasons. I have had knee problems for years and have spent a fortune on all different types of knee braces and treatments and was strongly encouraged to try Imbrace shown by Chemmy. Great advert and great reviews.

Due to the sizing chart and after a great deal of measurement and re measurement I decided to go ahead and purchase.
I bought the large and they looked quite impressive. Tried them on and after managing to squeeze into them I thought there not lot a lot of support in the knee but carry on and don't try to form an opinion before trying them properly.

Tried them out for a few hours while out on a Trial motorbike. One word to describe the experience - Brilliant thigh and hip support BUT "Awful" lack of support on the knee.

Okay said I let's be fair and hold back a bit. Went all the way (5 hour drive each way) to the Manchester Indoor ski Dome. I had to go and take the Imbrace off and put a £8.50 cheapo knee brace from eBay and got the support and relief I needed.

Now Imbrace may be good for some people and that's great but certainly not for me and I really do not think I can recommend them to anyone but this is a personal honest review
Bad points for me -
1. very tight in the high waist and would not stay up to the bottom of my rib cage where they reached crept down and were actually hurting my waist.
2. Tight in the thigh to get on.
3. Very poor support on the knee itself - in fact really poor

Good points for me
1. Well made and well stitched together
2. the material at the back of the knee was great and thin and did not dig in. This is a major plus for anyone who needs to wear knee braces.
3. Felt good around the thighs and bottom providing good support in these areas
4. The design itself is really good in as much as they will stay in position for the duration of wear

If you happen to have the right shape and size of body for these they might be good but the knee part certainly needs to be improved. I could not ski for 2 hours without agony in my right knee due trip the lack of support All in all they are unlikely to see the light of the day again unless on-route to the bin.
Summary - Poor sizing, poor fitting, lack of support in the knee area.
If they are manufactured in the UK I would have been prepared to pay extra for a proper fit and a lot more elasticity and strength in the knee area
